Position: Insurance Consultant
Location: Thatcham (RG18)
Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday (08:30 - 17:30), plus every other Saturday (08:30 - 12:00)

Opportunity:

An insurance brokerage in Thatcham, with a reputation for outstanding customer service, is looking to recruit an Insurance Consultant to join their specialist branch.

As Insurance Consultant, your role will be focused on securing sales over the phone and face to face. A high level of customer service and an understanding of your customer's requirements is essential to determine, source, and secure the best quotes from a range of suppliers.

Their Thatcham-based branch specialises in providing insurance for imported, high performance, and modified vehicles. As such, the role will not be purely office-based, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to attend car shows and run marketing initiatives. A keen interest in the automotive industry would therefore be an added bonus.

The successful Insurance Consultant will have office-based and customer-focused experience with the drive and enthusiasm for success.

Requirements:

  • Hold Cert Cii exam or willingness to sit this (funded by company)
  • Highly motivated and have the ability to make/receive large volumes of calls
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with customers both over the phone and face to face
  • Able to multitask and manage a high workload
  • Experience of working within an office environment
