We are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation seeking to recruit a part-time Financial Accountant in an exciting new role working closely with the team to produce accurate and timely consolidated accounts, legally required returns and periodic recharge reports as well as being responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of balance sheet reconciliations. The role will also require involvement in other ad hoc projects and cover for Treasury related tasks.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Periodic Securitisation & Debenture recharges
• Production of periodic group consolidation, reconciliation and legal entity journal entries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations & reviews
• Vat return preparation, investigation & group reconciliation
• Intercompany ownership / reconciliation
• Disposal proceeds accounting by entity
• Assist with bank postings
• Assist with group debt and interest reporting / budgeting
• Working with a culture of constantly seeking improvements in processes and ways of working
• Support the team with gift card issuance and recharges
• Assist with the review of corporate P&L period end work completed by the team
• Deputise for Finance Manager as necessary
• Various adhoc projects

You will ideally be an ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with statutory entity accounting experience, excellent planning and organisational skills and a meticulous approach with attention to detail. You will also be a competent user of Excel and BI tools with a working knowledge of at least one major ERP or integrated accounting package.
