Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Reception Teacher, to join a vibrant and successful school in north Manchester, to start in early March 2019 until July 2019. This is a Full-Time, long term role, with the potential of a permanent contract, paying up to.

About the school
We are recruiting for a Reception Teacher on behalf of a 2 form entry School in Stockport, whereby the leadership team has maintained a good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
After working with the head teacher for many years, it is clear that he is an inspiration to the team, pupils and parents. The school has gone from strength to strength with performance and offer a range of extra-curricular activities.
Ofsted have rate this school "Good" in 2018 and the focuses for the school include:
*Ensuring appropriate resources to accommodate phonics sessions
*Embed changes to reading so higher percentage of pupils meet the higher standards by the end of KS2
*Build on successful strategies and embedding this with parents to utilise at home
*Continue to improve the absence rate
which believes that every child has the right to a first class education that inspires, challenges and motivates learners in all subjects. The school offers it's own Minibus which broadens the learning experience beyond the classroom. The school is heavily involved in local sporting activities and Forest School learning.
Further to this the school invest heavily in additional support for families who are in need of it. The school includes a nursery class of 3-4 year olds with an admission of 40 pupils and 30 in reception. The foundation unit means that all the nursery and foundation pupils are together with two teachers and three nursery nurses. As outdoor learning is massive part of the EYFS curriculum, the school boasts extensive grounds, a wildlife area, a tyre park, team challenge area and a large enclosed playground.
About the role
This OFSTED "Good" Primary school is looking for a Reception who can deliver lessons designed to cater to a 30 pupil Reception class. The schools want to see the candidate demonstrate excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge of the Reception model, especially in core subjects including sciences. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the curriculum through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.
