My client are a market leader on the Hire side of HVAC equipment, specialising within the the supply, installation and on-going Service, Maintenance and Breakdown cover on Chillers, Commercial Gas Boilers and Air Conditioning Units.
My client now require an Operations Manager to join their team in Andover, this will be an office based position and will require someone commutable to Andover.
As Ops / Service Manager you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the Depot and all departments within the depot. You manage motivate and provide clear direction to all reports. You will maintain a clear focus on KPI delivery whilst maintaining cost control to ensure that the depot obtains the best possible prices from all suppliers and deliver high quality and safe equipment to our customers.
Ensure compliance to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures, responsible for compliance of the Work Place Safety Compliance Register and weekly Depot Audits.
Be a key driver in serious about safety by leading from the front
Lead coach and motivate a team of Contract supervisors and Engineers to ensure the best level of internal and external customer service is provided
Review / manage performance and development needs of the Operations team on a regular basis.
Promote teamwork between the sales & operations team embedding a positive attitude.
Plan, organise and manage the routing of deliveries, collections and installation's, through the contract supervisors, to meet the requirements of the business and our customers.
Manage the Companies transport performance in line with KPI's
Meet and exceed the requirements of the companies KPI performance Matrix constantly upping the bar.
Review and manage boiler build to ensure the program is cost effective and meets build targets whilst constantly looking for cost and labour saving idea's
Manage the companies Maintenance plan of equipment in line with KPI's
Be a key driver in maximizing utilization of stock ensuring fleet is "good to go"
Be proactive in developing operational improvements, focusing on cost reductions and customer satisfaction, and embrace any changes that are implemented with a positive attitude.
Manage "COGS" (costs) in line with the companies budget and processes.
Ensure compliance with all operational systems, procedures and processes.
Carry out any other duties as required.
Operational/Service experience in a reactive, fast paced environment
Experience leading a team
Strong communication skills
Driving licence essential
Excellent organizational skills
Previous experience of managing budgets or cost control
Up to date knowledge of HSEQ regulations within a transport environment
Company Vehicle or Car Allowance
