Field Service Engineer - Medical Diagnostics
A growing manufacturer is looking for an engineer to join the team, if you are an experienced medical service engineer or with the aptitude to go in this direction (for example engineers from the RAF, Navy or HM Forces) then we would love to hear from you!
Overview: To provide technical service and support to customers on this leading companies diagnostic instrumentation.
Provide technical support, breakdown and preventative maintenance of diagnostic instrumentation.
Provided telephone support, including troubleshooting to customer base.
Ensure effective communication with the Technical Department.
Provide technical assistance to other departments.
Ensure efficient execution of all planned maintenance.
Installation and relocation of diagnostic instrumentation when required.
Instrumentation software and hardware upgrades.
Complete all necessary records and paperwork relating to instrument support, including field service reports, fault reports and stock return forms.
Maintain and audit personal stock levels of instrumentation spare parts, ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained.
Ideally a field engineer with IVD experience but this isn't essential
Someone who is happy with IT, networking and dealing with LIMS systems as the newer products are becoming increasingly complex in this area.
Ideally a HNC in electrical or electronics
£30,000 - 40,000k (DOE)
