Billing Co-ordinator

Ensure all revenue is invoiced and processed in accordance with Company policy and procedures including:

* Ensure all sale invoices and credits are raised within the relevant time frames
* Ensure all levels of approval have been received before raising credits
* Implement and improve processes to streamline the day to day tasks as well as providing live group consolidated billing information.
* Assisting Service Managers and other operational staff with any queries/support required
* Maintain account reconciliations, ensuring all periods are billed on time every time
* Liaise with other departments including operational staff to resolve any queries
* Build and maintain relations with external funders as well as internal staff
* Escalate any key issues relating to invoices and customer complaints to the relevant person
* Support the Accounts Receivable and Billing Manager
* Provide cover for the rest of the sales ledger team
* Provide assistance with any ad hoc tasks / reporting necessary
* Highlight areas for improvements in relation to processes and systems

Personal requirements
* Prior experience of working within a sales ledger team/billing department
* Sector knowledge preferable
* Good IT skills, including Excel (essential) and Sage 200 knowledge (preferable)
* Excellent communication skills, able to work well under pressure
* High level of numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail
