Head of Department (Product marketing) RM Resources, part of RM Group have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Department (Product Marketing). The role will be based at Nottingham NG17 9LE. The office is modern and has a great feel and culture. On offer will be will be a competitive market rate salary and bonus The role will report into the Director of Division and be part of the Direct marketing team. RM Resources is comprised of three brands; WMS, Consortium and TTS. We are the leading supplier of educational resources to primary education both in the UK and internationally, and are at the beginning of an ambitious and exciting transformation programme to ensure our continued success. Part of this strategy includes transitioning our catalogue based business, where some of our customers still order through fax, to a digital focused proposition and culture. The Direct Marketing team plays a critical part in our overall marketing mix, and sits within the wider Digital and Marketing function, working closely with Digital and Creative to deliver our customer journeys, and understanding our product and category areas with our Product Management teams. The Head of Department will take responsibility for the delivery of the agreed subject campaign activity; working alongside your colleagues in NPD, Direct Marketing, Digital, Catalogue Production, Purchasing and the International Distribution team. The person will also spend a certain amount of time with our varied customer base to ensure we understand their requirements and how we can delight them at all times, thinking product, campaign and undiscovered opportunity, at subject level you will 'reach for the stars' to ensure our global market leading proposition.

Skills & experience
You will require the following Knowledge, Skills and Experience * Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject. Additional relevant professional qualifications or experience would be advantageous. * Substantial multi-channel Product Management experience, preferably gained within Education Resources, Retail or FMCG. * Excellent analytical skills - able to use numerical data and market information to make commercially viable product and pricing recommendations in line with strategic goals. * Results oriented and highly organised with a track record of delivering against targets and deadlines. * Tactful and diplomatic - able to vary your communication style to build effective internal and external relationships at all levels and across a range of audiences. * Full UK driving licence with no more than six points. * End to end campaign management * Range development experience: including range analysis * Experience of successfully managing and developing a Content and Product Management team * This role will require an enhanced DBS check For more information on RM Group please visit http:// We hope you are interested in RM and this role and look forward to receiving your on line application
