A successful and stable company based in Darwen are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a long term career within payroll and who wants to take control of the payroll function. Ideally you will have experience of working within a fast paced environment where you have been used to dealing with complex payrolls. You will have keen eye for detail and be able to manage your own workload on a daily basis.
Your duties will include, processing of the weekly and monthly payrolls, managing complex payroll queries and the calculation of NI and Tax. Along with being responsible for calculating SSP and SMP. You must also have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with employees in all areas of the company.
