We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher 0.8fte at Sanquhar Primary School situated within rural Dumfries and Galloway. The school roll is currently 170 pupils together with a nursery which offers 50 places. The nursery has places for some 2 year old children and offers 1140 hours to parents and carers. The school is very well resourced and benefits from a large open playground which includes green field areas, climbing wall and garden area. The school is an attractive and stimulating centre of learning. Classes are centred around a large hall which is used for P.E., assemblies and lunches. One classroom is a dedicated ICT suite. A Learning Centre with a hydrotherapy pool offers support to pupils with additional needs.
