Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)
Our client owns and manages just over 700 quality, affordable homes in great locations across London and the South East, providing homes and services for around 1000 local people, older people and key workers. They currently have 39 new homes in development and over the next five years they have plans to develop and acquire a further 100 new homes.
Having recently approved a new Strategic Plan for 2017-2021 and revised their Business Plan, they are looking to significantly increase theirstock numbers by a further 130 homes over the next five years, to continue to provide great customer service and be a great place to work.
They are currently seeking for an experienced proactive individual to join their finance team in Surrey.
In this key role you will effectively provide an efficient finance service to both internal and external customers, process financial transactions confidently and provide a high quality first point of contact for finance matters. Methodical in your approach you will ensure that the rents and service charges are managed and accounted for accurately and effectively. Further to this you will also be responsible for maintaining the organisation's financial records.
With your strong organisational skills you will undertake any tasks as requested by the Finance Director and Financial Accountant. You will be committed to providing a comprehensive service and will have the drive to assist in achieving their ambitious objectives for theircustomers and developing more good quality and affordable homes.
The successful candidate must have substantial experience of working within a finance department. It would be beneficial to hold an Accounting qualification or be working towards one. Knowledge of IT business software and a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English are essential. Friendly and flexible you will have the ability to use your own initiative and strive to be a strong member of their finance team.
