Our client is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Executive to work on a temporary project.

Key areas of responsibly will include:

Attending Health and Safety Committee Meeting

  • Facilitate Monthly Meetings
  • Review departmental audits
  • Instigate corrective action
  • Publish meeting minutes

Fire Risk

  • Manage Annual Fire Risk Assessment
  • Manage Findings
  • Training
  • Site Duty Officer

First Aid

  • Refresher Training
  • Manage First Aid box replenishment

Accident Reporting

  • Carry out accident investigation and reporting
  • Provide corrective and preventative action

Health and Safety Corporate Audit

  • Facilitate Audit with EHS consultancy
  • Instigate corrective action
  • Close findings

Facilities Audit

  • Facilitate Audit with Corporate facilities manager
  • Instigate corrective action, close findings

FM Global - Corporate Building Risk Analysis

  • Facilitate Audit with Company Corporate representative (FM Global)
  • Instigate corrective action, close findings

Safe-contractor Certification

  • Manage annual certification renewal
  • Upload Health and Safety evidence.
  • (EHS arrangements, Training Records, EHS audits, Committee meeting minutes)

Asbestos Management

  • Manage Asbestos Management plan
  • Identify duty holder

Legionella management

  • Document Legionella Management plan
  • Identify duty holders
  • Audit process and procedures

Radiation Management (IRR17)

  • Manage the company compliance to IRR17 with the company
  • Radiation protection supervisors (RPS)


Grundon- Waste transfer (Technical Waste, hazardous waste, Dry waste)

  • Manage waste transfer documentation
  • Manage the waste transfer provider (Grundon)

PBO- Waste transfer (Decommissioned Machines)

  • Manage waste transfer documentation
  • Manage the waste transfer provider (PBO)

Environmental Management

  • Environmental management - Document and maintain Manual
  • Environmental management - Document and maintain Company procedures

ISO certifications: 14001, certification.

  • Investigate obtaining ISO and 14001 Certifications
  • Manage Committee meetings, Corrective action
  • Manage External audits, Close out corrective and preventative actions

ESOS- Audit 2019

  • External Audit
  • Gas usage
  • Electricity usage
  • Water usage
  • Company vehicle usage
  • Submit by December 2019
