IT Support Engineer - South West London
I’m looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to work for a good client of ours in SW London, near Soho Square.
The IT Support Engineer will work as a part of the team to provide IT support to users of the client’s Group of companies. Role will be first point of contact for all IT issues ensuring requests are accurately logged, resolved or escalated
Technologies: Microsoft Windows 7,10 Operating System. Microsoft Office Applications, Apple Mac, Apple IOS. Office 365.
Main duties to include:
1st line Desk side support of all hardware and software in use, in all office locations.
Log all support requests, take ownership, track, prioritise, and progress support calls to a successful resolution
Setting up new users on Active Directory and provisioning of hardware.
Support and maintenance of printers and print queues
Ensure computers are updated and security patches applied.
Ensure Anti-Virus software is up to date and fully-functional on all company PC’s and laptops
Create and update computer images
IT infrastructure moves, tidying of cabling in the server room and office floor
Manage and configure smartphones and mobile devices
Use remote support tools and visit other offices as and when required
May be required to be on call and to work out of hours
Communicate clearly and confidently with user base in a friendly manner making sure no unnecessary technical jargon is used. Respond to support requests in timely fashion.
Help establish nice working atmosphere by being helpful and friendly to staff and team members
Have proactive " Can do" attitude to work, good time keeping and be reliable.
Provide 1st class service to user community
Ensure maximum knowledge and skill acquisition whilst attending any company provided training.
