The Just Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting our client based in Bury St Edmunds who are seeking a full time Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team.

Main duties:
To be responsible for day to day financial tasks and supporting the office and administrative environment when necessary.
*Heavy use of Sage Accounts and Payroll
*Raising and processing sales invoice
*Processing cash and bank payments
*Updating ledgers
*Reconciliation of bank balances
*Process petty cash payments and arrange for finances to be sent/returned between properties
*Credit control duties
*Monthly payroll
*Involvement in general office tasks as appropriate
In addition to your day to day tasks, you will also be required to:
*Support the team in crisis to effectively implement safeguarding related policies
*Read, comply and keep up to date with policies and protocol
*Attendance at, and completion of, induction and training sessions related to your role

Person Specification
*Good standard of Sage software and Microsoft Office
*General experience within finance and administrative roles
*Experience of competing invoicing, purchase ledger and credit control
*A knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
*Positive and non-judgmental value base
*The ability to admit mistakes and ask for help and guidance

In return, our client offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits package, working Monday - Friday 8.30pm-5.00pm.

Interviews will be held at our clients offices week commencing Monday 4th February.
