Project Engineer

  • Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000

Home based with occasional days spent in the office, you could live in or near Birmingham, Cambridge, Peterborough, Oxford, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Kettering, Luton, Chelmsford, Leicester, Bury St Edmunds etc.

My client is an expanding manufacturer of bespoke engineering solutions, they have created this position to feed their growth. Project Engineer Responsibilities

  • Autonomously deliver projects ranging in value between £50,000 and £1million on time and in full
  • Work from home spending a couple of days in the office every fortnight
  • Co-ordinate sub-contractors and deliveries according to agreed timescales
  • Attend site meetings and conduct site surveys, taking accurate measurements
  • Work closely with the Design and CAD teams
  • Negotiate contract terms

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position such as Project Manager or Project Engineer in an engineering company
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
  • Positive, hardworking and enthusiastic personality
