Teacher of Functional Skills - Vocational Education
CER have just won a contract to supply an Alternative Education provider, for a range of vocational teaching roles. The provider delivers a range of NVQ, BTEC and Functional skills courses at their sites in Middlesbrough. They are looking to employ staff on a temporary contract through supply, with a view to offering a permanent position from September 2019.
It is essential you have experience teaching subjects at 16+. You will need to be organised and innovative to draw on the students interests, ensuring that progress is made. The provider offers great flexibility in delivery method and will assist by providing up to date SOW and resources. They will also offer on-going CPD should you wish to access it.
To be considered for the position of teacher of Vocational / Functional Skills teacher you must:
*Have experience teaching NVQ / BTEC / Functional Skills to 16+ age range
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
