A well established and market leading organisation, with excellent team culture and atmosphere seeks a new Accounts Manager to join their back office team. You will be supporting the senior management team with all aspects of the accounting and overseeing 1 part time accounts administrator.
Your new role
You will be a key individual within the team, you will be a hands-on individual who is happy to take on some accounts administration and credit control as well as being responsible for generating monthly management accounts and assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts. The role requires strong attention to detail, the appetite to improve systems/processes and the flexibility to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a hands-on role including management accounting ideally within a small company environment, ideally with existing people management experience.
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbally.
IT literate, particularly with Excel
The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
