Camden Canals & Narrowboat Association is a small charity which maintains & runs a historic canal narrowboat on the Regent’s Canal in London for the benefit of the community.

We provide narrowboat trips along the Regents Canal and further afield for all kinds of groups - charities and not-for-profit community groups, families, friends, work colleagues etc.

We are staffed entirely by volunteers. Our aim is to offer disadvantaged community groups an experience of a canal trip on a traditional narrowboat. We are looking for new Trustees. You must be 18 years or over. Trustees do not need any special knowledge of canals or boating, but an understanding of the workings of small organisations run by volunteers would be an advantage.

We are particularly hoping that young people from different ethnic backgrounds will join our board. All trustees are also directors of the limited company. This post is not remunerated, but expenses will be refunded. Meetings are held about once a quarter in North London.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone. Successful candidates will need to supply references. Closing date is 21 January 2019 and interviews will be in the week beginning 28 January 2019.
