Butler Ross are currently recruiting an interim Senior Contract Manager role on behalf of a client based in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a widely renowned company as their interim Senior Contracts Manager on an assignment which is likely to run for at least 12 months.
As a Senior Contracts Manager your role will be to provide strategic direction and manage a team to contribute to the effectiveness of the Contract Management department. You'll ensure that all contracts are managed compliantly and that they deliver value for money. Ensuring contract governance and compliance to OJEU regulations is also another major responsibility within this role. The portfolio of corporate contracts managed within this team include those for FM Services, HR, Marketing, Professional Services, IT, Corporate Services, Stationery etc.
The Senior Contract Manager is going to need a wide variety of skills including experience of managing the full contract lifecycle; risk management skills; stakeholder management skills; previous people management experience; understanding of EU procurement (OJEU) regulations and experience of developing tools for assessing supplier performance against the contract.
This role would suit an experienced Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Contracts Manager or similar. Prior experience within the utilities or other public sector/regulated procurement environment would be highly desirable.
