The Company

We are proudly representing our client based in Billingham for their search for an Accounts Assistant. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a 6 month contract. This is a full time role based on 37.5hr week.

The Role

  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Inputting invoices onto the accounts package
  • Price checking and matching invoices
  • Checking orders to order confirmations
  • General admin duties such as reception, post, and any other ad-hoc duties as required by the business
  • Use of accounts systems
  • Deal with supplier queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure client details are correct

The Person

  • Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Team Player
  • Able to use self-initiative
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to help others when necessary
  • A friendly, polite individual who is comfortable using the telephone and greeting people whilst covering reception
