I am currently recruiting for my client based in Birkenhead, there is a need to bring on an Accounts Payable to their finance team. They are a market leading specialist manufactory company, this role would suit someone who has previous experience within a similar role and looking for a new challenge.

Duties include but not limited to:

* Data entry
* Invoice matching
* Credit card statement management
* Payment runs
* Enter and balance all payments to the cash book
* Bank reconciliations
* Ensure supplier statements are referenced to supplier ledger
* Creditor ledger monthly review - ageing and validity
* Creditor ledger reconciliation
* VAT reports

Skills and Attributes:

* Goal orientated, drive, supported by evidence of achievement
* Can work well as a team or as an individual
* Previous experience within the finance function
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly EXCEL
* Previous experience within a manufacturing company is desirable

Type: Permanent
Salary: £18,000 - £21,000
Location: Birkenhead
Benefits: Study support, great progression opportunity
Working hours: 8:15am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:15am - 1pm Friday
