We have an opportunity for a market researcher to join a notable company in the centre of Cambridge on a fixed-term contract, part time (3 days per week).

The main accountabilities of the role are below:

· To design, manage and implement our market research agenda ensuring that it is in line with and drives our business strategy and operational objectives.

· To manage our approach to competitor intelligence, including the gathering, reporting and interpreting of key information.

· To take full responsibility for gathering and reporting customer and market insight in support of product and service development.

· To design, manage and implement our strategy for measuring customer satisfaction.

· To provide direct support to Directors and senior management to ensure they are kept up-to-date with relevant customer, competitor and market intelligence and to ensure they understand the customers’ mind-set.

· To manage and administer the research & library budget; monitoring progress against budget, ensuring prompt payment of invoices and setting appropriate budgets for future spend.
