Strategy Education are currently looking for qualified Religious Education Teacher to join high achieving secondary schools located in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

This is a Full Time, Long Term Role with a view to becoming a permanent position.

The school is looking for someone who can plan and teach RE (and Geography as a secondary subject) lessons to students of KS3 & KS4, that follow the agreed departmental schemes of work and teaching guidelines.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The successful candidate must:

* Be a qualified RE (with good knowledge of Geography) Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).

* Demonstrate recent experience as a Humanities (Geography, RE) Teacher.

* Be able to teach RE up to KS4.

* Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.

* Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.

* Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.

The ideal candidate will be confident building strong rapport with pupils and hold the ability to consistently deliver 'Good' and 'Outstanding' RE lessons. Staff within this Geography department hold a shared vision based on providing every pupil with the highest standard of teaching and learning to ensure they achieve above and beyond their expected grades.
