We are a small company with a growing HVAC team covering all aspects of building services including air conditioning installation and maintenance, heating services and duct work cleaning. We work the South East, London but predominantly the M4 Corridor. We have an immediate vacancy for a new contract manager who will be responsible for developing our HVAC business with existing clients and for developing leads for new business. Detailed knowledge of the HVAC industry will be essential.

The role will report to the HVAC Director and will largely be office based but will include client visits focusing on customer service and to provide new quotations for existing and new customers so a good working knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance work will be key. This role will work closely with our Operations Co-ordinator who books the HVAC work with clients and updates the engineer’s calendars.

The ideal applicant therefore will have the following skills and knowledge:

* 3 – 5 years hands on experience in the HVAC industry

* Experience of managing sub-contractor services

* Experience in a customer facing business development role

* Proven experience working with a multi-skilled team

* Management reporting

* Use of FM IT systems

* A full clean driving license is essential

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage existing customer budgets and profitability, developing full sales potential

* Programme/tailor customer contracts, providing advice and guidance to customers as required.

* Raise quotations from customer enquiries

* Attend & present at external customer meetings

* Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques & skills

* Develop understanding of in house software keeping knowledge of system developments up to date

* Adhere to company policies and procedures including Health & Safety Policy and all company ISO accreditations

* Ensure Purchase Orders are obtained and working in conjunction with Finance Department to liaise with clients for payments.
