This is a great opportunity to join a £0.5bn turnover logistics business based on the north edge of London. Undergoing a period of transformation and re-focus, the CFO will play a key part in significantly upgrading the finance function, how it partners with the rest of the business, its delivery of insightful and meaningful data to the Board and management team and to gain play a major role in determining the growth strategy of the business. You will work closely with the CEO and Chairman, in a very visible and highly commercial role.

You must have demonstrable experience of delivering transformation and change within a large business, but also of finance leadership roles where you successfully influence company culture, behaviour and can develop a world class finance function

The interim role is likely to be for a period of 6 months, though may well extend.

Key skills, competencies and experience:

- Experience of the logistics industry
- Track record of delivery in similar roles, operating at Board level
- A relentless focus on business improvement
- Detail oriented in a high volume transaction business, but strategic to see the bigger picture
- Ability to filter and distil data into tangible, meaningful information on business performance and trends
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a strong 'people person' with ability to form relationships quickly
- High levels of integrity, team player and a critical thinker
