This is an opportunity to join a new biotech spin-out company of the University of Oxford, currently developing robotics to facilitate the company's innovative fluid manipulation technology for use in the biosciences.

They have an excellent opportunity for an Office Administrator to join a growing team.

They require a highly organised, pro-active administrator to help run their offices at Begbroke Science Park, just outside Oxford. This position will cover a wide variety of duties, with an emphasis on financial administration.

The position is offered on a part-time or full-time basis with a competitive salary.

Day to day tasks would include the following:
- Acting as a contact point for the company
- Managing accounting software - Xero
- Liaising with Accountants with regards to monthly management accounts
- Creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions
- Company banking
- Managing accounts payable (and receivable in the future)
- Making purchases for the company
- Keeping records of invoices and tax payments
- Identifying and addressing account discrepancies
- General office administration, including booking meetings and managing events calendars
- Raising POs
- Managing supplier (and customer) accounts

Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a Finance/Office Administrator or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, like Xero
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Time-management and organization skills
- Confidentiality
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Organizing and prioritizing
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication
