As a leading Technical Recruitment Consultancy Zebrec are delighted to offer this role as STOCK PARTS CO-ORDINATOR working for our client who is a reputable & leading provider of professional services to their industry of Specialist Engineering.
Role & Responsibilities of the STOCK PARTS CO-ORDINATOR:
- To receive and identify stock
- To correctly locate items in stores
- Return unused or damaged parts to the supplier on a timely basis and obtain credit or further discount on parts that are supplied in a damaged condition
- To complete internal paperwork for invoicing in a timely manner ensuring discounts have been applied as appropriate
- To ensure all paperwork, documentation and requisitions are properly recorded within the stock control system
- To maintain good helpful relationships with staff members
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- To be numerate and literate at the clerical level required
- To understand basic engineering components
- To be able to identify components
- To have received training in the standard stock-keeping system used
- To use stock control and location equipment
- To be capable of courteous service to suppliers
- Data entry experience
- Good keyboard skills
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Be confident, have a good sense of humour
