SIG Distribution are looking to recruit an experienced candidate to take on the role of Management Accountant . As part of a professional team, you will work closely with operational management to put finance at the core of decision making by preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to enable well-informed decisions on future stability, growth and profitability of the business.

What does the role involve?

As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include the production of accurate and timely management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger, month end processes, as well as supporting the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and KPI’s and other ad-hoc reporting requirements.
In the role of Management Accountant, you will provide decision support to all businesses within the SIG Distribution Division as well as support the integration of newly acquired businesses, whilst building and maintaining strong branch relationships and review and resolve branch queries. You will ensure all financial procedures are adhered to and that all reporting requirements and timescales are met.

It is likely you will be circa 2-3 yrs PQE, Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience in a similar role. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, be commercially aware and able to develop and manage your workload effectively. You will need to have strong MS Excel skills
