This global aerospace component manufacturer who is based in Lincoln has a new vacancy for a Project Manager to join the business on a 6-month fixed term contract. The main remit of the role will be to provide management services to drive modernisation improvements in the facility with significant CAPEX investment going into the site to raise Health and Safety and Housekeeping standards.

The successful Project Manager will perform the following duties:

• Planning Capital Expenditure budgets and supporting the current management team.
• Managing external contractors onsite to ensure contractual duties are discharged to the required level and manage space effectively.
• Setting 6s plans, managing resources through planning and prioritising and reporting back on activity.
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory and company HSE and Quality processes.
• Managing improvements, refurbs, installations and overhauls with minimum disruption to the operations whilst ensuring continuous improvement, health and safety and best practices levels are not compromised.

The successful Project Manager will display the following education, skills and experience.

• Degree or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Highly experienced in Property and Building Services Management, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering setting. 6S knowledge would be beneficial.
• Highly experienced in Procurement, Projects and contract management.
• Have a high level of financial and commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in dealing with Contractors and Suppliers and ensuring all associated HSE and Quality standards are exceeded.
• Experience of managing multiple CAPEX projects in a time-bound pressurised environment.

This managerial role will offer a salary of up to £55,000 pro rata and will be offered on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.15pm and a 3pm finish on a Friday.
