We are representing an SEN School who is lookint to appoint a Qualified Maths Teacher to work with young people aged 11-16 with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties to deliver Maths at GCSE level across KS3 & KS4. This is a permanent role.

A great opportunity for a Teacher to gain experience in a challenging and rewarding setting working with young people who have special educational needs.

Teaching staff are well supported by a strong network of staff, committed in helping young people to develop solid relationships needed to maximise and enhance their happiness and opportunities available to them in the future.

Successful applicants will be required to work with small groups of young people, alongside 2 classroom support staff who will assist in creating and maintaining a peaceful learning environment and will also manage any challenging behaviours that may occur.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your core subject

* Prepare differentiated learning methods and material for a range of ability levels

* Set class-work and homework; marking work and providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement

* Monitor pupil attainment & co-ordinate support teams to deliver intervention sessions, as required

* Preparing students for examinations and facilitating revision support.

Essential:

* Have a recognised degree in Maths

* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
