Role – Commissioning and Qualification Engineer
Location – Isle of Man (Permit required)
Salary - £40,000pa + Benefits
Hours – Monday to Friday - 40 hours
Our Client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning & Qualification Engineer to join our Engineering team based on the Isle of Man, working as a part of our established UK group. As a Commissioning & Qualification Engineer in our Engineering team you will ensure that the delivery of all Facility & Production Process projects are qualified according to current Good Manufacturing Practice, and in liaison with other departments, assist in the delivery of Process Validation. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the principle responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: - For assigned projects:
•Change Control Request (CCR) & User Requirement Specification (URS) creation, for defined projects.
•Assist in the development of Master Validation Plan, for defined projects
•Develop Design Qualification (DQ) protocols and conduct against defined criteria.
•Develop Installation Qualification (IQ) protocols and conduct against defined criteria.
•Develop Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols and conduct against defined criteria.
•Lead Engineering commissioning, for defined projects.
•Assist in the development and execution of Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols, for defined projects.
•Other related duties/responsibilities/projects as required or assigned by line manager.
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
•Min. HNC (BTEC Level 4) Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Control Engineering
•Recognised craft apprenticeship (City & Guilds / BTEC Level 4 or equivalent)
•Minimum 10 years of experience within an engineering department of a regulated process industry, pharmaceutical, food, aerospace or allied.
•Minimum 2 years engineering project management experience, including commissioning and qualification.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project (or other project planning software packages), MS Excel, MS Word.
•Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, or MS Visio Engineering Drawing Packages.
You must be self-motivated and organised with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Along with these you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
