This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment business.

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll administrator to join our successful client on the out skirts of Newark . This position is for an immediate start so we can get the training in place straight away.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll preparation from start to finish and manual calculations expertise. They will also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff and resolve their payroll queries in an effective, but sensitive manner.

Any experience of running a payroll that ranges across weekly and monthly payrolls for either admin and secretarial or management and director level staff would be greatly received.

The Payroll administrator role will include:
• High volumes of weekly and monthly payroll preparation
• Investigating and resolving payroll queries
• Statutory calculations such as SSP,SMP, SPP
• Payment runs
• Maintaining starter and leaver records accurately
• Ad hoc payroll administration and time sheet processing

• Car park
• Canteen
• Progression within the business

This role is full time temporary position working Sunday - Thursday 8am-4pm
