Groomfield Recruitment are working for a large manufacturing company based in Yardley. We are looking for a Sales Ledger/Credit Controller to start ASAP on a 6 Month temporary basis to a fixed term contract.

You will play an active role in a friendly and busy team that support our national customers with their billing and payment processes. You will assist with the day-to-day coordination of filing, cash posting and sorting proof of delivery notes. We are very customer focused and aim to build long lasting relationships with our customers as well as our colleagues.


* Day-to-day filing and archiving of delivery notes

* Daily cash posting, contacting customers for remittances where necessary

* Processing cheques from customers twice a week

* Updating daily cash forecasting with actual numbers received

* Pulling out Proof of Delivery notes (PODs) for external teams and customers (be able to create PDF and save to common drive)

* Post statements / invoices when required

* Assisting the wider team as and when necessary Skills / Experience required

Skills and Experience

* Strong attention to detail

* Must use own initiative, as well as, work as part of a team

* Must have good telephone manner and communication skills

* Must be able to use SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel

* At least 1 years’ financial administration experience


Monday to Friday 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. 9:00a.m – 17:30p.m.

Salary – Dependant upon experience
