Sopra Banking Software is recruiting a Lead Software Developer to join our expanding development team in our Dunstable office. We seek a developer with advanced Angular 4 and Java skill sets capable of taking a lead role in the development process of our retail banking products.

The team develops and maintains a key new product in the organisations portfolio for major UK banks and building societies. The team also works closely with the offshore part of the team so any experience of offshore working techniques would be beneficial.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working directly with internal stakeholders.

You would be expected to have strong working knowledge of most of the following:

Technical Skill Set

* Advanced Angular 4

* TypeScript

* JavaScript

* Java

* SASS

* MarkDown

* Advanced Design Patterns

* Docker

* Understanding of DevOps process

Other Key Expertise required

* Demonstrable ability to successfully introduce development best practices

* Demonstrable history of creating Platform and frameworks

* Distributed Architectures

* Single page Applications including Security

* Good understanding of Application Object Oriented Design paradigms (e.g. SOLID principles)

* Advocate of TDD and BDD
