Payroll Assistant

Key responsibilities:

*Providing timely, accurate and legally compliant payroll support information to assist payroll team.

*Administration of personal and contractual changes on the workforce management database - starters,

leavers, bank details, address details etc.

*Administration of payroll wage sheets, updating changes to wage sheets, ensuring budgets are

maintained, and no duplication of contracts

*Collation, input and amendment of employee's data accurately and in time for the relevant payroll runs

Organising appropriate communications to staff in relation to pay in a timely manner.

*Providing payroll support to operational staff.

* Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information and ensuring budgets are not exceeded.

* Timely and accurate pension reporting.

* Administration of staff deductions, the timely and accurate settlement.

* Data input and completion of forms for SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP.

* Filing and scanning in a timely manner.

* Any other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

* Experience of working within payroll previously

* High level of accuracy, and attention to detail

* Strong excel skills
