Business Analyst / Corporate Finance Accountant

Location: Chirk, North Wales

Salary: Competitive

Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst / Corporate Finance Accountant to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. The successful candidate will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst / Corporate Finance Accountant:

As part of the Group Finance team, the Business Analyst / Corporate Finance Accountant will be Preparing analysis, reports and presentations for the use of senior executives in the business
Responsibility for accurately gathering and analysing group and other financial data on a monthly or quarterly basis in order to prepare reports and presentations for senior executives
Competing regular analysis on competitors, suppliers, customers or other companies of interest
Preparing presentations for Banks, Customers, Suppliers and Government Bodies
Working with, organising and presenting big data such as sales figures and capacities
Involvement in projects relating to acquisitions and new investment
Preparation of financial forecasts as and when the business requires Preparation of financial models for investment appraisal and financial forecast
Maintaining updated presentation appendices & other templates
Ad hoc reporting
Any other reasonable duties that you may be asked to perform.
To meet or exceed any specific performance objectives agreed under the Kronospan performance appraisal process.
Adherence to all Kronospan policies and procedures.

Requirements of becoming the Business Analyst / Corporate Finance Accountant:

Min. 2 years' experience in a similar office environment
AAT or preferably CIMA part-qualified
High standard of working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with good experience using Microsoft Excel in particular
Ability to work well as a team and with others
Excellent communication skills
Attention to details
Presentation techniques
Analytical thinking
