JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

Sales is never easy, but it helps when people know who you are. Brand and reputation are hugely important when you're working in such a competitive IT market.

Ideally, you want to work for one of the well-known and likes business; making even a cold call just that bit warmer.

The problem is; how often do these business give someone a chance? Without having 5 years from the industry on their CV?

Not very often. But with this opportunity, we have exactly that.

LOCATION: West Midlands - Wolverhampton, Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull

PACKAGE: £25-30k basic OTE £45-50k, plus car allowance and expenses.

  • Business-to-business (B2B) Sales.
  • At least 2 years selling something that has a service-led element to it. This is does not have to be IT related.
  • Consultative mind-set and bright.
  • Driven, career minded, money motivated.
  • Based in the West Midlands.


  • The business enables any organisation to improve the cost efficiency and effective of their IT Systems and the management of them. The business has the expertise and capability to assist global, enterprise organisations - with an impressive track record of 'wins'.
  • You will generate new business and close deals with SMEs and the mid-market
  • You will get some inbound leads from off the back of a strong marketing presence and campaigns, and potentially some warm accounts - but the focus is new business sales.
  • The client is looking for individuals who see this as an ability to gain entry into consultative, complex IT Sales.
  • You will be field based - organising your own diary and based from home, with the support of a local office.
