Refrigeration Engineer

Our client has a new need for a Refrigeration Engineer to join their business, to cover a small portfolio of factories in & around the West London area.

Due to the nature of the sites & production hours, the Refrigeration Engineer is going to be required to work ‘out of hours’ or in a night shift role (precise hours flexible).

The Maintenance Engineer will be asked to carry out the follow duties -

Checking refrigeration and air handling plant for correct performance

Cleaning of condensers, evaporators and air handling units. Replacement of AHU filters, belts and pulleys,

Visual / thermal checking of control panels for fridge and AHU plant. Occasional low level service works / parts replacement etc.

Leak checks on refrigeration systems,

Identifying & replacing worn or broken parts, a

Adjustment of settings on Ref & Ventilation plant etc.

Accurate reporting on operation and condition, follow up works required etc.

As mentioned there is flexiblility as the the excat days (a need to cover 5 days otf the 7) to work and the precise working hours (it will be a 40 hour week)

Requirements -

Maintenance Engineers should be qualified to NVQ or C&G Level 2 and it's essential to hold a Category 1 FGas.

Engineer should have experience with commercial refrigeration plant.

Knowledge of CO2 plant would be useful but not essential).

The salary for this role is negotiable on skills & capabilties of the Refrigeration Engineer but up to £40,000. A small van will be provided and will be required for movement between sites so driving license is essential
