Are you looking for your next SEN Teaching Assistant post? Do you have a driving passion to support children and young people with SEN?

Are you an enthusiastic, proactive Teaching Assistant to work within a large SEN School based in Chesham?

You will be working in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ special school for 61 children and young people with a broad diversity of complex needs and Sever Learning Difficulties (SLD). The school caters for pupils from ages 2 to 19 and has a vision to further develop specialisms within all of it's departments.

You will join a warm, friendly and supportive team who have a collective passion to support and educate the SEN pupils within the school. This is a team that has developed over several years with the senior leadership team priding themselves and their school on having a family orientated ethos.

The ideal Teaching Assistant would have direct experience within a similar setting covering some or all the following types of needs:

* Autism

* Challenging behaviour

* Severe Learning disabilities

* Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties

Previous experience within these areas would be a plus; however candidates who lack SEN experience but have a genuine interest in embarking on a career within SEN would also be ideal for this role - this particular school is big on career progression and upskilling its staff.

If you can demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence and versatility within the classroom then this is the role for you. You will also need to be adaptable, tailoring your day to day techniques to suit the unique needs within the school.
