Project Manager (Utilities)

Liverpool

£40,000 - £45,000 p/a

Alecto Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an excellent Utility company based in Liverpool.

My client is currently looking for a Project Manager who has good experience within in the Utility industry, ideally with Multi-Utility knowledge to come into the business and spearhead it into a direction where the company will be completing projects covering Electric, gas and water distribution, where as currently they’re mainly electrically bias.

Main Responsibilities:

* Responsible for achieving the budgetary targets of the Sub-Business Unit

* Full project budgetary control ensuring the on-going accurate measurement and valuation of all works ensuring accurate timeous invoicing to ensure recovery of all costs incurred including relevant margins

* Responsible for achieving and maximising project financial targets in line with Company targets

* Responsible for the management of Supervisors to ensure successful delivery of project objectives and targets in line with all relevant Company procedures and statutory legislation in H&S and Quality

* Effective resource planning maximising productivity where possible

* Client and customer satisfaction

* Ensuring all relevant Company processes and procedures are followed and monitored to ensure effective implementation

* Project and Sub-Business cost control measures are in place and costs savings are achieved where necessary

* Daily/weekly/monthly provision of management information demonstrating the effective control and performance of projects under your control

Operations:

* Manage business unit Supervisors and ensure policies and procedures are being followed

* Ensure Supervisors efficiently manage manpower for all projects

* Ensure that all works are programmed accordingly

* Provide electrical technical support and advice

* Lead support staff

* Complete estimating for projects as per agreed schedule of rates

* Ensure adequate plant and equipment available for all necessary works

* Hold team updates daily and arrange weekly and monthly meetings with Supervisors

Essential Training or Qualifications:

* Full UK/EU Driving Licence

* Office Safety Induction

* Field Safety Induction

* Site Safety Certificate

* CDM Awareness

* Commercial Awareness
