We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Guest Experience Intern to join our team based in London. You’ll be supporting the guest operations team to deliver exceptional experiences for all our guests, from point of booking to check out. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality and wants to be part of a young, motivated team based in the awesome Paddington WeWork building.

Operations tasks;-

Acting as a point of escalation for our customer service team in the Philippines.
Problem-solving where issues arise, liaising with UK based team members and contacting guests if need be.
Working in tandem with the operations executive to minimize the impact maintenance issues in homes have on the guests.
Clear communication and the ability to co-ordinate quickly and effectively are key.
Regular checks of our homes to ensure they are in top condition and to brand standard
Scheduling and following up on quality reports from external companies and reports you carry out yourself
Supporting the Head of Guest Operations to solve guest compensation claims and resolution cases quickly and accurately.
Supporting the Head of Guest Operations with security checks and lost property
Guest experience tasks:-

VIP and long stay guest contact (being the initial point of contact, ensuring our guests have everything they need for their stay and then upselling services throughout their stay)
Respond to guest reviews and be a champion for communicating reviews across all levels of the team
Upselling extra services to guests prior to their check-in
Review our competitors and look at trends in the homestay market, produce a report with actions to take
Help drive our team culture (team building activities, lunches etc. come up with fun ideas to help us spread Good Vibes

About You
It’s not a big team, and you will have a lot more freedom and personal responsibility that you would in most similar roles. We’re growing fast and we need a new colleague with humour, a quick mind and the following;-

You are confident on the phone with a great manner (your natural instinct is to pick up the phone!)
You are an amazing communicator
You can quickly pick up management systems (Zendesk and Front experience would be a huge bonus)
You have a creative flair; we always want to hear about new ideas that will improve our guest experience
You are a logical thinker
You have a great attitude; you get out of bed everyday ready to take on new challenges, and bring #GoodVibes to our guests and our local communities
You are extremely organised with the ability to multitask
You are a problem solver
You are comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
You have the right to work in the UK without restriction
