An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Administrator / Office Administrator to join a world class venue. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week including weekends, to meet the needs of a busy events calendar. Matching the nature of the venue, you can expect the role to be varied and busy with no day being the same. With training on offer expect to play a key role supporting the Security team which pays a key role in ensuring the safety of the staff and guests.

Hosting over 300 events a year and welcoming over 4 million visitors, from every corner of the globe, this leading venue boasts fully flexible event halls, conference & exhibition space, a multitude of meeting rooms and the UK's largest flexible auditorium. Due to ongoing success we are now seeking a Security Administrator / Office Administrator to join a fantastic team.

The Security Administrator /Office Administrator will be responsible for managing key processes and departmental documentation to support the Security team and will be the main point of contact for all visitors to the Security Suite providing cover and fielding enquiries both in person and by phone.

You will also play a key part in managing rosters and the effective deployment of officers across a large estate. Manage Access control requests and take responsibility for the administration of the relevant software. As part of a wide and varies range of duties you will manage team administration including uniforms; training bookings and stock levels and deal with the associated budgeting controls. All requests for CCTV and Data Access will form a key part of the remit of this role in accordance with GDPR so discretion and confidentiality are essential.

To qualify .You should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent computer skills and highly computer literate with experience of using databases;
  • A high level of initiative and strong organisational skills;
  • Security industry knowledge;
  • You should be reliable and self-motivated able to work as part of a team and an achiever who consistently meets the deliverables set in a busy environment.
