This company is currently looking to recruit an Assistant to the Finance Director & Board person to join their talented and enthusiastic team.

They are a successful and expanding digital healthcare company; developing innovative marketing solutions for large and medium sized Pharmaceutical companies. Since relocating to Twyford, Berkshire in 2017, they've seen positive financial growth and increased personnel which has led to a need for a full-time finance assistant.

The right candidate will have experience using XERO / WorkFlowMax and enjoy keeping on top of financial admin and responsible for liaising with the Finance Director on all aspects of their role.

Day to day tasks:

- Ensuring XERO is fully up-to-date and reconciled with the bank
- Reporting to the Finance director and the board
- Working alongside external accountants dealing with their queries and requests
- Chasing debtors - ensuring there are no significant debtors over 90 days
- Experience with Purchase and Sales Invoices and ability to enter these on Xero
- Dealing with client financial queries
- Scheduling Paying suppliers (freelancers & contractors)
- Ensuring administration for new employees is completed correctly
- Taking on ad-hoc jobs - buying office supplies, coffee, stationery, etc.
- Organising company calendar and social events

Essential skills:

- Excellent bookkeeping skills and experience with XERO / WorkFlowMax
- Previous experience as a finance administrator including chasing debtors
- Great communication skills - telephone and written
- Quick to pick up new software and being able to adapt to change
- Brilliant organisational skills
- 'Can do' attitude with the ability to turn your hand to anything
