A Finance Assistant is required to join a growing, dynamic SME based just outside of Haywards Heath. This company provides specialist software and training to people with disabilities to improve their working life.

- Work closely with the Finance Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
- Sales Ledger invoicing and administration
- Purchase ledger processing and reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with supplier payment runs
- Processing employees' expenses
- Credit Control
- Cashbook functions and bank reconciliations
- Customer Product returns administration
- Assisting with stock level monitoring and re-ordering

- GCSE in Math's & English (A-C) or equivalent
- 3 years of experience working within a finance department
- Credit control experience
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- Good level of competence in Excel, Work and Outlook
- Good communication and listening skills
- Good organisational skills used in planning own work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
- Interest in helping people with disabilities
- Experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Act desirable.
- A recognised finance qualification desirable.

The role is based on a salary of 20 - 22K dependent on experience. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs pw, 9.00 to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch unpaid.

Please note this is a rural office-based role and applicants must have their own transport.
