Prospero Teaching are looking for a Secondary Supply Teacher to work in a variety of local client schools in Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

We work with a range of Secondary Schools; from small schools for KS3 and KS4 to large schools with a Sixth Form. We cover classes in a variety of subjects, and look for specialists in the core subjects (English, Maths and Science) as well as the Humanities, PE, Music, MFL etc.

Supply teaching allows you to work flexible days and hours, gives you a work life balance and allows you to work in a variety of different schools. We are looking for teachers of any subject who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

The position is open to Cover Supervisors, unqualified teachers, newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers. Some contracts may be extend from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover depending on the schools' needs.

CONTRACT DETAILS

* Location - Various locations across Ipswich, Suffolk and the surrounding area

* Position - Secondary Supply Teacher

* Type of work - Supply Teaching

* Start date - ASAP

* Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools' needs

* Contract type - Temporary

* Full time/part time - Part time, Full time depending on schools needs

* Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day for qualified Teachers, £60 minimum for Cover Supervisors

* Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

* QTS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent are preferred but not essential

* Previous experience working in a UK school

* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

* Hold Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

* Provide two professional child related references
