Are you a skilled sales candidate looking to channel your ability into an exciting and emerging and creative industry?
We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who will enjoy the challenge of breaking into new markets and being part of the growth of a young company. An interest in and knowledge of the property / real estate industry would be an advantage but more critically, you will need to be skilled at identifying opportunities and understanding the concept of motivators and obstacles, and how to overcome them.
You will have a passion sales and closing deals. We can teach you everything you need to know about home staging.
We provide Property Dressing services in and around London.
Property Dressing/Home Staging is a relatively new concept in the UK property industry aimed at increasing the value and appeal of properties on the market to sell or let.
There are a number of factors that influence the sale price of a property, amongst the most influential being how a property is presented and its appeal to the viewer. Empty properties often lack appeal which Is why properties dressed with carefully selected furniture and accessories will sell quicker and achieve, on average, a 10% higher sale price.
The Business Development Manager Role:
As Business Development Manager you be responsible for generating new and repeat business by identifying opportunities and building relationships with keys clients and referrers.
+ Establishing and ensuring retention of relationships with key prospective clients and referrers such as estate agents: residential and new homes teams and developers
+ Developing and implementing a business development plan and marketing strategy
+ Identifying opportunities for high levels of repeat business in new geographic areas
+ Carrying out and employing competitor analysis to strengthen market position
+ Networking and making presentations to prospective clients and referrers, increasing awareness and understanding of the process and commercial benefits of property dressing
+ Working to set sales targets and milestones
+ Maintaining client contact and project databases and other monitoring and communication tools
Previous experience of working in the property industry is not essential however the following are:
+ Minimum 3 years business development and B2B sales experience
+ Solution focused, energetic and instinctive approach to generating sales and managing barriers and objections
+ Understanding of the property industry and concept of property dressing
+ Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
+ IT literate - proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Ability to prioritise work load, hard working, diplomatic and behaves with professional integrity at all times
+ Clean current driving license and use of car useful.
