About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage the full/part lifecycles of Projects that are running within the DSG contract.

You will be part of a team of 5 who will be assigned either small projects that they will run full lifecycle projects for, or larger projects that they would run a small part of the life cycle in collaboration with other change management teams so you must have PM experience and strong communication, both written and verbal (IT).

Projects will be assigned you by the Senior Project Managers who you would report to and you may have 2/3 projects running at any one time.

What do I need to do the role?

You must have Project Management experience with Prince 2 or equivalent, strong IT literacy and being able to produce presentations is essential as well as good communication skills in order to explain and deliver project plans and move into implementation phase.

A military experience would also be desirable and advantageous.

Other requirements

  • Follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations
  • Able to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative to assist delivery of site objectives & targets in line with internal policy/process & ISO 9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001
