Interior Design Manager (Luxury Residential)
A hugely talented and creative Interior Design Manager / Interior Architect, who has experience working on luxury residential developments, is needed to join an award-winning Interior Design Partnership who have an excellent reputation for producing bespoke designs for a discerning clientele. This is a rare opportunity for an Interior Design Manager / Interior Architect to work on exclusive UK and European residential properties.
Founded in 1995, with a desire to create beautifully crafted interiors, an impressive team of architectural interior designers and buyers and a leading reputation for delivering the highest quality of service to their clients. Offering a relaxed, friendly and good-humoured working environment which includes a resident HQ dog (Ellejay) and lovely studios located rurally not far from Ashford, they are ideally positioned to work closely with their loyal European clients (you will be regularly visiting chalets in the Alpine regions of France and Switzerland as well as residential developments across the UK).
The role of Interior Design Manager / Interior Architect (or Pit Boss as you will be referred to internally) will utilise your advanced CAD skills to create spatial layouts, write specifications, produce 3D visualisations and detailed sketches. Your interior design skills will be used to create tailored luxury designs including product design, textiles and papers, soft furnishings, feature lighting, inventories and detailed mood boards in line with the clients brief. Acting as the lynchpin for design projects, you will manage a team of 4-5 designers whilst working closely with end clients, developers, architects and planners to ensure the smooth delivery of your designs.
To qualify. You should be an Architectural Interior Design Manager / Interior Architect / Interior Design Manager or similar with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates:
- Experience in a similar interior architectural role working on luxury properties;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and freehand drawings;
- A track of working with high net worth clients
- You have a strong relevant academic background;
- Experience dealing with building contractors and liaising with clients;
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal;
- A highly organised approach and excellent attention to detail.
