Senior Horse Foundation Trainer & Instructor
We are looking to recruit a motivated and reliable person with experience, skill and knowledge with young and/or problematic horses. You will be required to break in/start young horses and to also demonstrate to students attending training weeks the method you use to progress from the first ride using natural horsemanship techniques. You will be required to have extensive knowledge of the innate behaviour of horses and also the use of natural horsemanship techniques and their relation to the classical training of horses. You will also be required to teach introductory, intermediate and advanced horsemanship courses helping people to become more competent and understanding of the horse and their behaviour and to do so in a safe manner. You will be involved with amateurs, professionals and professional organisations. You must be able to develop horses for demonstrations and develop foundation programmes for horses and riders of all levels and disciplines.
You will provide advise and demonstrations on horse behaviour at clinics and demonstrations throughout the United Kingdom. You must be able to successfully interpret horse behaviour and assess various situations at various levels and demonstrate/advise a workable outcome for those involved.
The job will involve travelling from location to location for the duration of 1 month.
Must be available to start on the 5th August to the 1st September 2019.
