Global Payments & Compliance Coordinator is a new and important role within activpayroll. As our business continues to grow at a significant rate the volume and complexity of the Global payrolls we manage for our customers also increases. Our customers need to pay their employees and statutory payments in the various countries around the globe and activpayroll offer a number of solutions to achieve these requirements. activpayroll need to ensure tight controls, completeness and transparency of these transactions. The main aim of the role initially will be create customer payments and to ensure reconciliation and reporting of balances on customer accounts is complete and all transactions are recorded into the finance system The successful candidate will work mainly within the Global Payroll & Finance teams while also working closely with other departments in the business to ensure that the strategy is delivered. High level responsibilities ; Input of payments to activpayroll client bank accounts Gathering of backup for payments Investigation of unexpected or unfamiliar transactions Specific responsibilities Bank reconciliations and proof of payment to satisfy customers requirements Report balance and turn over on accounts at month end Audit of invoices for payment services Daily upload of client banking transactions into NAV finance system & allocation to respective creditor accounts Audit of customer due diligence information Work with Global on-going teams Finance Contracts & Commercials Global Implementation Team Experience, knowledge & skills Must have numbers background not necessarily a Finance background , Experience of reconciliations Basic understanding of FX Understand Internal Controls. Good system and computer skills Team Focus Ability to work across a number of different teams based in different countries Ability to influence at people at all levels to achieve results Commercial Awareness Have a good level understanding of client agreements, service levels, billing rates, etc Competencies Highly numerate Excellent spoken and written communication skills Good organisational and time management skills Self-motivated with high level of drive, energy, persistence and initiative Ability to quickly understand systems and processes Team player Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner Good 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues A professional manner Able to communicate with multiples layers of Organisations, including Senior Leadership Well Organised, able to handle multiple tasks at once
