Given business development, the firm are looking to recruit for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their Aberdeen Oil & Gas Team. Your new role This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied portfolio, made up of upstream producers to diverse services companies. Part of the Client Services Team, you will maintain relationships with current and future clients and support them on Tax advisory projects, whilst assisting the development of business. You will handle the financial management of the relationship, ensuring the completion of work occurs within the agreed timeline and budget. Further to this, you will manage and develop more junior members of your team; utilising your managerial and leadership skills. This will also include working closely with other service lines, for instance, Corporate Finance and Assurance, whilst meeting clients and your own network of contacts. As a specialist and expert, you will remain up to date on legislation and products, and have knowledge of local and national business and economic news which may have an impact. What you'll need to succeed Holding a relevant professional qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CTA, ATT or equivalent) will be essential for your success, as will relevant experience in a Corporate Tax capacity within a professional services firm. The successful applicant will have a commercial outlook and passion for business. You will demonstrate a commitment to continuing to enhance your technical knowledge, with a willingness to use initiative when dealing with new and challenging work. You will have excellent managerial, team work and organisation skills and be self-motivated.
